Choti Chawni also called Valmiki Bhawan or Maniramdas Chawni, is a beautiful structure in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. It is entirely made out of white marble. It’s a beautiful place that you should definitely visit. 

Choti Chawni has 34 caves, with 17 Hindu in the center,  5 Jain in the north, and 12 being Buddhist in the south.  This architectural marvel makes it a historically significant site. There’s also Kailasha Temple inside the caves which adds to the intricate beauty of the structures.

It is said that the sadhus started living together in a group to protect the religion, and during the time of the British, the place where they lived began to be called a chawni.
