Why to visit Bahu Begum Ka Maqbara
Bahu Begum ka Maqbara, located on the Maqbara road of Faizabad, is popularly known as the “Taj Mahal of the East”. It’s a tall monument dedicated to Queen Bahu Begum Ummatuzzohra Bano, the wife of then Nawab Shuja-ud-Daulah. She was laid to rest in the maqbara after she passed away in 1816. It is famous for its non-Mughal architectural brilliance.
