Why to visit Aurangabad Jain Temple

Aurangabad Jain Temple, dedicated to Chintamani Parshwanath, the 23rd Teerthankara. The idol at the temple is believed to possess divine powers, solving the devotees' problems and fulfilling their desires. It is known as "Atishaya Kshetra," or a miraculous site. Around 250 years ago, the magnificent idol was discovered in an underground basement. A large number of pilgrims come to the Aurangabad Jain Temple as a symbol of reverence, walking all the way from their village or town. During the Karthik Shukla festival, which takes place in October-November, people flock to the wonderfully constructed Jain Temple in Aurangabad.

Special Tip

There is a dharamshala attached to the temple providing food and accommodation facilities for the visitors who wish to stay here.
