Why to visit Wandoor Beach
The beach itself is in an isolated location that can only be reached by travelling down winding roads through the woods. The trip to the beach is spectacular because you're occasionally greeted by a sudden jump of wide blue sea visible through the forest canopy.
The waves are average, and the water currents are moderate, increasing only during full moons, ensuring a wonderful and comfortable swim.
When in the water, keep an eye out for underwater rocks and dead coral reefs to avoid getting tiny wounds.
Another thing to keep in mind is that crocodiles have been spotted near the Wandoor beach's woodlands on multiple occasions.
Despite the fact that they have been transported far away from the site, the government has constructed a nest near the beach's beginning.
