Madhuban is a dense thicket and wooded region in the outlying area of Ferrargunj in the district of Andaman in the Bay of Bengal's Andaman and Nicobar Islands. This gorgeous Madhuban hike concludes in a blue-water white sand beach where elephants can be seen lumbering.

What is the entry fee to visit Madhuban?

Ideally there is no price for the Madhuban hike..nevertheless..you must pay a fee to enter the Mount Harriet National Park's grounds. The charge is INR 25 for adults and INR 10 for youngsters in India. It costs INR 250 for foreign tourists.

How to reach?

Because the Madhuban trip is located within the Mount Harriet National Park..travellers need first travel to the park's base and then proceed to the walk. Technically the national park is 15 kilometres from Port Blair and you can access any of these wharves by taking a ferry from Port Blair.

Special Tip

It is advisable to complete the walk and return during the day to avoid any risk of unforeseen hazard. In the forest, it's best to wear full-coverage clothing to avoid mosquito bites.
