Why to visit Aberdeen Bazaar
Aberdeen Bazaar, in the heart of Port Blair, is one of the top shopping destinations in the city. It's a shopper's dream, with fantastic retail therapy at every price point, from cheap finds at roadside vendors to high-end jewellery at shopping malls.
You must buy a piece of fine pearl jewellery, polished wood or bamboo handicrafts, papier mache tribal masks, or at the very least a Port Blair t-shirt before leaving! Finish off a successful day of shopping with a delicious lunch at one of the market's many eateries. The products are well-known for their ridiculously low costs. So haggling isn't necessary until you notice price differences between stores.
Special Tip
If you're simply tired of shopping, try one of the neighbouring eateries, such as Lighthouse Restaurant, which serves delectable seafood such as crab curry, prawns, and fish.
