Almora is only about 30 kilometers away from Binsar. Bus connections between Binsar and Almora, Kurmaon, and Haldwani are good. Once at Binsar, a cab must be used to get to the Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary, which is accessible up to the parking lot. After that, it takes nearly an hour to hike up the trail that leads to Zero Point.
