Why to visit Government Museum of Ajmer

The Government Museum of Ajmer is located on the grounds of the ancient 16th century Akbari Fort in Ajmer and houses a large collection of historical antiquities, exhibitions, sculptures, miniaturised paintings, and other items. Art, archaeology, armoury, crafts, history, miscellaneous, and other divisions make up the museum.

Vishnu, Surya, Trimurti, Lakshmi Narayan, Hariharan, Kuber, Revanta, Mahishashur Mardini, Saptamatrikas, Jain Saraswati, and Kali are among the statues that can be found here. There are also some Medieval battle weaponry on exhibit.
