Why to visit Taj Nature Walk

This route takes through a green area on the right bank of the Yamuna River. It is a 9-kilometer route with a series of viewing sites and a diverse range of flora and animals. Local butterflies and birds, such as parakeets and kingfishers, can be seen here. Grass mounds, rifts, and valleys, as well as a natural ridge area, can be found here. There are also more than 46 different types of flowers here, as well as creatures such as blue bulls, jackals, and hares. Excessive urbanisation has resulted in deforestation, and concrete constructions have replaced the green cover that is necessary to preserve the Taj's natural splendour.

Special Tip

The entry fee is 100 rupees for foreigners and 20 rupees for Indians.
