Summers in Daman are extremely hot and dry. Sunny days gives you no relief from scorching heat and humidity. Though all sports activities are functional in this time and you can enjoy beaches at evening hours.

One of rare and few black sand beaches is in Daman. Jampore beach located in Nani Daman is a black sand beach. The beach is clean and is not crowded. There are small shops selling liqour and snacks by the bay. The sunset at Jampore is to die for.

An interesting option available in city to travel across is ferry rides. You can travel between one shore to another and also enjoy scenic landscape in the Daman Ganga river.
